Henriksen, Sr. was the original founder of the Utah Trial Lawyers Association (UTLA - an organization for Utah's plaintiff trial lawyers). And for 25 years he was also a member of the governing board of the 55,000 member Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA - the largest organization of trial lawyers in the United States).
