How We Can Help

At Henriksen & Henriksen, we help people. The mark of civilized society is the ability of its members to conduct their business, protect their rights, and redress their wrongs uniformly and without violence. Our society resolves its disputes through settlement or the Justice System. With our expertise, experience, and skill, we can help.

We can help you avoid legal problems by providing you with the knowledge and tools you need. Examples include preparation of wills, trusts, leases, agreements, contracts, and advice on how you can best legally accomplish your goals.

When you are wronged or damaged by someone else, we can help you receive a proper remedy and just compensation. Examples include being physically injured, such as in an automobile accident, or being financially injured, such as through breach of contract.

We can help you if someone is seeking damages from you unfairly. We investigate their claims, test their evidence and provide full representation to limit your liability.

Our Approach to Your Case

Henriksen & Henriksen is a full service law firm. We handle many kinds of cases and problems. If for some reason we are unable to handle your case, we will refer you to someone else. We feel we can help you the most if we know you and work with you individually.

At Henriksen & Henriksen we hire investigators, private detectives, engineers, accident reconstruction experts, economists, accountants, doctors and other experts as needed. We build the case from the ground up. It is the evidence that determines whether a case is strong or weak. We look for the key evidence that makes a good case great or a marginal case better. The crucial evidence could be a missing document, fading skid mark, drop of blood, ambiguous clause in a contract, or any number of things. We investigate in detail so that an accurate and full evaluation can be made. If we cannot gather enough evidence to make your case one that should be pursued, we will tell you so and help you explore other avenues of help.

Our Fees

At Henriksen & Henriksen the product we provide is our time, personal care, and expertise. Most cases are handled on an hourly basis. You are billed for the actual time spent working on your case and you pay as you go.

Many times there is money to be recovered for the client at the end of the case, such as an insurance settlement for a car accident. In these cases, we wait with you until the end of the case to be paid our legal fees. We accept a percentage of the settlement or verdict you receive. This is called a contingent fee. Our fee is contingent upon us recovering money for you. If there is no recovery then there is no fee collected.

In all cases you are responsible for out-of-pocket expenses such as filling fees, witness fees, photocopies, etc. All terms of our representation are spelled out in the "Legal Services Agreement" we will sign at the beginning of the case. Itemized statements are sent out monthly to keep you apprised of the work done and time spent on your case.
